Internal Memo: Private Lessons, Private Classes & Parties

Private Lessons (Instructor-Coordinated): 

Instructors may coordinate their own private lessons with clients under the following guidelines:

• Pricing

• Your private lesson pricing may not exceed what is advertised on The Movement Atrium’s public website:

• 1 Private Lesson: $100 (60 Mins)

• 2 Person Private Lesson $150 (60 Mins)

• 3 Private Lessons: $270 (60 Mins each)

• You may choose to charge less, but not more than these rates.

• Studio Fee

• The studio receives $30 per hour for privates lessons held at The Movement Atrium.

  • The Studio fee for 2 person privates (60 mins) is $50

• This studio fee applies regardless of how the private lesson is booked or paid.

• Booking Expectations

  • Privates must be scheduled in a way that does not conflict with existing classes or studio operations.

  • Studio policies, safety standards, and space use guidelines apply to all private lessons.

Private Classes (Studio Coordinated)

Private classes are different from private lessons and are:

• Booked directly through the studio

• Assigned to instructors by the studio team

• Have a minimum of 3 clients

• Instructor compensation: $50 per private class

The studio will reach out to instructors when private class opportunities become available. 

Private Parties (Studio Coordinated)

Private parties are also handled exclusively through the studio.

• Booked directly through The Movement Atrium

• Instructor compensation: $75 per private party

• Assignments are offered to instructors on a first come, first serve basis, unless:

• A client specifically requests a particular instructor

Assignment Process & Communication

• For studio-booked private classes and parties, the team will communicate opportunities via established channels.

• Timely responses are appreciated to ensure smooth scheduling.

• Declining an opportunity does not impact future assignments.
